Perfect

I hear her crying on her bed
She's feeling that she's had
Enough of her masked life,
there's nothing more to be said
Would anyone know if she goes?
How long would it take to do so

Somehow she's got everybody fooled,
she wants to be shut out cold
got more than she could ask for, everthing's at her door
Many visions she finds, she's never fallen behind
Blessed abundantly, but why can't people see
Perfect by nature, they know her as how she appears

Does it matter as long as she hides
Does it matter since a smile's on her face
Does it matter if she wants to go home
Does it matter, does it matter
Does it matter why she felt that way
Does it matter when she just walks away
Does it matter since she pretends its okay
It doesn't matter, it shouldn't matter, tell me why

She's a girls as strong as can be
She'll never fail to breathe
She's never alone in the dark, why would she be, she's never gotten stuck
Locks herself up in her room
Everywhere out there's her doom
Closes her eyes, so hard she prays that she'll wake up in a different place
She doesn't want to talk, she hates it when they call
She cares about nothing they're hypocritical
She's decided not to show, she's decided not to need
She's born into the world alone, she's too gonna leave it on her own
She felt that everyday, she's fighting her way
